Dear HR Manager,
I am writing to apply for the job position of Marketing Associate at Yin Yang Marketing Limited. My name is Peter Cheng, and I am currently a final-year student at the College of Business at City University of Hong Kong. I had the pleasure of attending the recruitment talk, in which the speaker introduced the values of the company: "Integrity, boldness, and accountability". The values upheld by Yin Yang are inspiring. "Boldness" resonates with me strongly, as I believe marketing is about leading new trends and promoting new ideas. With my knowledge and insight in the marketing industry, I am confident I am a great fit for the role.
As a student in the Marketing program, I studied the practices of the marketing industry. Among all the courses I took, I was most interested in i-Marketing - a course on digital marketing and social media marketing. Besides my academic excellence, I was also an active participant in inter-university business competitions. I was a finalist in the "Business Proposal Inter-University Competition 2018". My project was about marketing strategies in augmented reality. I applied the feedback from the judges to my coursework and my improvements were subsequently reflected in my grades. I believe my education and competition experience would enable me to perform the role of Marketing Associate at Yin Yang Marketing Limited as I learn from the senior staff of the company.
